Born in Australia and raised in the heartland of Michigan, Dr. Steve P. Milios has long harbored a passion for dentistry, loving the idea that he could give people a smile for life. From a young age, he was drawn to the transformative power of dental care, dedicating himself to mastering the art of creating and maintaining beautiful smiles. His enthusiasm for dentistry is matched by his deep love for his adopted country, a sentiment that led him to honorably serve in the United States Navy for 13 years.
He views his service in the Navy as a foundational experience that enriched his life and practice, instilling in him values of discipline, excellence, and a commitment to service. These principles shine through in his dental practice, where he is not just treating teeth, but is also enhancing lives by providing his patients with smiles that are as lasting as they are radiant.
Excellence in Education
Dr. Steve P. Milios began his academic journey at Michigan State University. His passion for dentistry and commitment to patient care led him to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he excelled in his graduate studies, earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Following his graduation, Dr. Milios sought to deepen his expertise and refine his clinical skills through a postgraduate General Practice Residency at the Oakland Navy Hospital in California. This intensive residency program allowed him to gain hands-on experience in a wide range of dental procedures and patient care scenarios, further enhancing his ability to deliver comprehensive dental services with precision and compassion.
In addition to his extensive education, Dr. Milios is deeply committed to continuing professional development. He annually participates in continuing education courses, ensuring that he remains at the forefront of his profession. This dedication to ongoing learning enables him to offer his patients the most current and advanced services and technologies available in dental care. Outside the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Milios cherishes his role as a family man and community member. He married his childhood sweetheart in 1990, and together they have nurtured a loving family with three children in the Orlando area. Their family has joyfully expanded to include a daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and the newest addition, their first grandchild. Since the 1990s, the Milios family has been active members of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, deeply involved in various church ministries. Their faith is not just a private comfort but the bedrock of their daily lives, reflecting and reinforcing the values that Dr. Milios brings to his dental practice — values of care, integrity, and a commitment to serving others.
